Our Administration Team

Senior Clerk Laurie Gallogly Laurie has brought to chambers a wealth of experience. He started his career at the Old Bailey (not in the dock). He joined Dr. Johnson's Buildings from there he moved to Lord Wigoder's Chambers as a junior clerk. Some years later he was invited back to 3 Dr. Johnson's Buildings to be the Senior Clerk where he stayed for many years. He is a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks.
Administrator
Mark Jordan Mark joined chambers as a junior Clerk and has been with us for twelve years. He is  a director of Mayfax Limited which is the service company to Phoenix Chambers. He is a member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks.

Sean Phelan His career as a barristers' clerk started in the Temple. He moved to Gray's Inn where he was the founding clerk to the chambers of Arthur Davidson QC, former Solicitor General. The Chambers later passed to Lord Richard QC. Sean is a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks and in the past has served on their Management Committee. He achieved a distinction in their professional examinations.

The clerking team in chambers are happy to recommend suitable counsel for your needs. They are unbiased and if chambers does not contain the necessary specialised counsel they can refer you to Chambers that do. They will also help with your in enquiries in respect of our Mediation Service.
